Our Mission

Lighthouse 23 is redefining affordable, low-income housing. We’re a national nonprofit organization that is working to build a more humane world where communities are healthy and all people can develop their full potential.
Lighthouse 23 is one of the nation’s largest affordable housing organizations. We participate in the development, preservation, management and/or financing of affordable, program-enriched housing across the country. We acquire and renovate existing housing, as well as develop new affordable rental properties.
Our Vision
The vision of Lighthouse 23 is to enable a better quality of life for all citizens by initiating economic development and improving housing choice for the workforce, special needs, elderly and homeless households. Lighthouse 23 accomplishes this by providing financial education and assistance in support of a safe, quality and affordable housing. While presenting pathways to rental housing, home ownership, infrastructure, public facility improvements, and homeless prevention programs.
